Our client is looking for a paraplanner to join their friendly, dynamic team to support the Business Owner and 2-3 other Wealth Managers. As the ideal candidate, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing technical support through meeting preparation and writing Suitability Letter reports that document the advice they give to their clients. You can expected a welcoming team who are committed to supporting your career progression and development in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with advisers to prepare client recommendations and write comprehensive suitability reports. 
  • Assist with pension transfers, drawdowns, and inheritance tax planning. Handle client inquiries via phone and email, resolving them promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare detailed cash flow reports using Voyant
  • Conduct thorough investment analysis, assessing performance and costs using FE Analytics
  • Ensure all financial plans and recommendations adhere to industry regulations and internal policies

About You

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a paraplanner in a financial advisory firm. 
  • Experience with SJP is highly valued.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, Word, and Excel. Confidence in communicating with clients and third-party providers. Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Solid technical knowledge of pensions and investments.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Salary

Salary up to £45,000
